DATA CENTRE PROGRAM MANAGER

For our office in Ariccia (RM), we are looking for a DATA CENTRE PROGRAM MANAGER

The role as the main actor will have to act as the primary post‑order contact for key data‑centre customers, orchestrating all internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time, on budget and to specification. Own program risk management, progress reporting, quality performance and factory acceptance testing (FAT) to ensure flawless execution and customer satisfaction. Coordinate seamlessly with KAMs, Business Development, Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, the Central DC Commissioning team and local affiliate project managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Ownership & Customer Interface – Serve as single point of contact from order release through shipment and commissioning, providing clear communication and timely status updates to customers.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination – Align KAM, BD, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Central DC Commissioning teams; liaise with affiliate‑level project managers to ensure unified execution.
  • Schedule & Risk Management – Develop integrated timelines, identify critical path and proactively mitigate risks to meet customer KPIs for on‑time delivery.
  • Quality & Continuous Improvement – Track quality metrics (PPM, first‑pass yield), lead root‑cause analyses and drive corrective actions.
  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) – Plan and host customer FATs; coordinate test protocols, resources and documentation to achieve first‑time pass.
  • Progress & KPI Reporting – Compile and issue weekly internal dashboards and customer progress reports covering schedule, quality, cost and risk status.
  • Change & Issue Management – Control scope changes, manage claim strategies and ensure commercial impacts are captured.
  • Lessons‑Learned & Feedback Loop – Feed market and execution insights back to Product Management and Engineering for roadmap and process enhancement.

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years’ experience managing multi‑disciplinary projects/programs in a factory or customer‑site environment; mission‑critical or HVAC projects a plus.
  • Project‑management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA or equivalent) desirable.
  • Proficiency with modern project‑management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira) preferred.
  • Engineering degree preferred; relevant technical diploma considered with strong track record.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects with diverse international stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English; Italian and/or other European languages an advantage.

  1. On‑time Delivery (OTD) – percentage of projects shipped to contractual schedule.
  2. Progress Reporting Accuracy & Timeliness – adherence to weekly reporting cadence; forecast vs. actual variance.

  4. Root‑Cause Analysis issuance and Root-Cause Corrective‑Action (RCCA) Lead‑time
  5. Stakeholder Satisfaction – internal (KAM/BD/Manufacturing) and external (customer) satisfaction scores captured post‑project.
