Daikin has recently supplied, installed, and commissioned 4 chillers to provide comfortable cooling in the staff accommodation in one of the buildings of the most prominent Hotel Chain originated in UAE booming across the globe. The United Arab Emirates is known for its hot and humid climate, making air conditioning an essential part of everyday life. Installing high-performance and reliable chillers in buildings is important to maintain indoor temperatures and humidity levels, provide comfort, and create a healthy environment for the occupants.

The project required completion without any complete shutdown of the HVAC plant while taking all required authority approvals.
The customer was looking for air-cooled screw compressor chillers with high energy efficiency that could guarantee great reliability in high ambient temperatures and dusty environments, plus a chiller system manager able to run the plant with the best performance and that could be easily integrated into the existing BMS system. The chillers chosen were from one of the most efficient Series by Daikin, the EWAD-M, a range of products specifically designed to stand and perform in Middle East environments with features such as high ambient temperature operation and protection for exposure to dust and tough environments. Besides that, the M Series features the Single Screw Compressor designed and manufactured by Daikin. Footprint was another essential aspect of the project. Daikin met this specific need with the M Series, a range of chillers specifically designed to operate in Middle East conditions.
