Daikin has recently supplied six air-cooled chillers for a big industrial project in Ankara, Turkey. The project involves a big company operating in the Turkish aerospace sector, which is installing chillers for new facilities, to provide the industrial plant, offices, and warehouses with cooling.

The main goal of this project was to provide the HVAC plant with six reliable and energy-efficient air-cooled chillers that could meet the cooling needs of the industrial plant, plus offices and warehouses, helping the customer have lower operative costs. To meet the reliability and energy efficiency needs in this project, single screw compressor technology and free cooling were chosen, so the industrial plant could benefit from the energy savings ensured by the free cooling unit during the cold season and perfect variable load management offered by the screw inverter units which will be serving offices and warehouses.
