PROJECT
Daikin has recently supplied a chiller from the R-32 EWAT-B- Series in the context of a project involving a luxury hotel in Cyprus. The R-32 EWAT-B- Chiller was installed as a replacement for an old screw chiller. The aim was to update the hydronic system which supplies comfort cooling to the hotel through Air Handling Units and fan coil units serving rooms and public spaces.

CHALLENGE & SOLUTIONS
The customer was looking for a solution that could make the HVAC system more energy efficient and reliable, so not only operative costs will be contained, but also the customer experience will be improved because of an HVAC system able to always ensure comfort. The R-32 unit with six scroll compressors and partial heat recovery will provide the HVAC system with high energy efficiency, great reliability – also thanks to the E coating, which will protect the unit from the corrosive coastal environment – and a solution able to support the production of hot sanitary water for the whole hotel.
